Quiñenco owns a 50% interest in Habitaria through a joint venture with Ferrovial of Spain. Habitaria develops real estate projects oriented towards the Chilean middle and upper classes. It was one of the first developers to introduce housing specifically designed for an urban lifestyle, focusing on comfort, security and family living. The company was created in 1998 and since then it has developed nine projects in Santiago and the fifth region of Chile .
