Francisco Pérez Mackenna
Chief Executive Officer
Francisco Pérez has served as Chief Executive Officer of Quiñenco since 1998. He is currently Chairman of the Boards of Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores, Compañía Cervecerías Unidas, Empresa Nacional de Energía Enex, Invexans, LQ Inversiones Financieras and Tech Pack. Mr. Pérez served also as vice chairman of Banco de Chile and is member of the board of Directors of Embotelladoras Chilenas Unidas, Cía. Cervecerías Unidas Argentina, Cía. Pisquera de Chile, Cervecera CCU Chile, Inversiones y Rentas, Nexans, Viña San Pedro Tarapacá, Sociedad Matriz SAAM, Agencias Aéreas y Marítimas and Hapag-Lloyd, and is also a member of the Executive Board of Banchile Corredores de Seguros Ltda. Previously, he served as CEO of Compañía Cervecerías Unidas, CEO of Citicorp Chile and Vice-president of Bankers Trust in Chile. He has a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Católica de Chile, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Rodrigo Hinzpeter Kirberg
General Counsel
Rodrigo Hinzpeter joined Quiñenco on April 3, 2014, as General Counsel. Mr. Hinzpeter is also member of the board of Directors of Compañía Cervecerías Unidas and LQ Inversiones Financieras. Between 1997 and 1998 he was associate professor of Civil Law at Universidad Católica de Chile, together with the professors Alberto Lyon Puelma and Felipe Bulnes Serrano. From the beginning of his career he dedicated his activities to corporate law, acquisitions, mergers, and financial matters. In 2000 and 2001 Mr. Hinzpeter was a foreign lawyer at the law firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, New York, USA, during which time he continued furthering his knowledge of these type of transactions. In 2012, he left the law firm Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana as well as various company boards, to take up the position as Minister of Home Affairs in the Chilean government, post which we held until 2012. From that date until 2014 Mr. Hinzpeter was Secretary of Defense in Chile. Mr. Hinzpeter has a law degree from Universidad Católica de Chile.
Eduardo Garnham Léniz
Chief Financial Officer
Eduardo Garnham was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Quiñenco in January 2022, after more than four years as Deputy Business Development Manager of the company. Before joining the group, he worked at Credicorp Capital as Investment Manager in Infrastructure and Energy, as well as at Booz & Co, as a consultant. Mr. Garnham has a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Católica de Chile and an MSc from Imperial College London.
Mauricio Lob de la Carrera
Corporate Affairs and Social Management Officer
Mauricio Lob joined Quiñenco as Public Affairs Manager in April, 2014 and, in January 2020, he was appointed as Corporate Affairs and Social Management Officer. With a large experience working in different media, he was Under-Editor in Chief and Editor of Politics and Sunday Reports of La Tercera, one of Chile’s main newspaper. In the public sector, he was appointed as Director of the Communications Secretariat of the Chilean Government (2010-2013), and Undersecretary General of the Government (2013-2014). Lob is a journalist and holds a bachelor degree in Social Communications from Universidad Diego Portales, where he also worked as professor. Additionally, he owns a diploma course in Digital Marketing from Universidad Católica de Chile.
Pedro Marín Loyola
Performance Control Manager
Pedro Marín has been Performance Control Manager at Quiñenco since September 1996. In 2009 he was also designated as Internal Auditor, reporting to the Directors’ Committee. Prior to Quiñenco, he worked at Empresas Iansa, Unilever and Banco Bice. Mr. Marín has a degree in business administration and accounting from Universidad Católica de Chile, in computer auditing from Universidad de Chile, and a Master in Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE).
Andrea Tokman Ramos
Chief Economist
Andrea Tokman is Chief Economist at Quiñenco since April 2014. Previously, she was executive director at Grupo Res Pública Chile, senior economist of the economic research department and chief advisor to the chairman of the Chilean Central Bank. She was also a member of the national commission investigating the existence of price distortions in imported goods, and formed part of the presidential advisory commission Women, Work and Maternity during the government of President Piñera. She also worked as researcher at Cieplan and at the Instituto de Políticas Públicas Expansiva-Universidad Diego Portales, and as a consultant in various institutions such as the ministries of Finance, Education and Women, the Supermarkets Association, the World Bank and the ILO. Ms. Tokman has a degree in Economics from Universidad Católica de Chile and a PhD in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
Arturo Highet García
Audit Manager
Arturo Highet joined Quiñenco in July 2016 as Deputy Performance Control Manager and since May 2021 he has served as Audit Manager of the company. Previously, he worked at other companies, such as Entel and Ultramar, always in the area of performance management and control. Mr. Highet received a business administration degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master’s Degree in Financial Management from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
