It is with deep regret that Quiñenco announces the passing of Álvaro Sapag Rajevic, Chief Sustainability Officer of the company from 2014 until his death in the early hours of Sunday, April 9.
During his nine years at the company, Álvaro brought his experience and vision in sustainability, contributing to the development of Quiñenco’s first Sustainability Policy and the preparation of its first Integrated Report, soon to be published.
He also collaborated with the teams of Quiñenco’s different companies in a permanent and determined effort to adopt best practices in sustainability, especially with regard to environmental protection.
“We will always remember Alvaro Sapag, not only for his extraordinary professional contributions, but also for his great warmth as a person. We accompany his family in this sad moment,” said Quiñenco’s CEO, Francisco Pérez Mackenna.
